Hupp Named President at ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Aviation

American International Group Inc. (ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½) reported that David Hupp has been named president and chief executive officer of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Aviation Inc. (ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Aviation), a wholly owned subsidiary of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½.

Hupp will be responsible for day-to-day operations of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Aviation, headquartered in Atlanta, with operations in five additional U.S. cities and an international operation based in London. He succeeds Steven Blakey, who has left the company.

Hupp, who had served as the ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Companies senior executive-Eastern Zone since 2004, joined ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½’s American International Underwriters (AIU) in New York as an underwriter in 1970.

In addition, Martin Stevens has been named ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Aviation’s chief underwriting officer. Stevens joined ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ in 1979 as an underwriter in the Aviation Department.
