ACE Bermuda Insurance Ltd. has announced the appointment of Robert Rebellato to the position of Senior Vice President in its property division. He will assume responsibility for the management of ACE Bermuda’s global property and first party specialty lines business and will report to Rees Fletcher, President & CEO of ACE Bermuda.
Rebellato succeeds Chris Fisher, who was recently appointed to the position of Executive Vice President, ACE Energy within ACE USA. His appointment is subject to the approval of the Bermuda Department of Labour and Immigration.
“Robert brings a wealth of underwriting and management experience to his new position,” Fletcher noted. “I look forward to working with him as he leads the continued development of our property underwriting team.”
The bulletin said ACE Bermuda’s new Sr. VP “has over 20 years of international property underwriting experience and has held positions in Toronto, London, Dublin, Zurich and Bermuda. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from McGill University and is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of Canada. He joined ACE in 2002 from XL Capital. He previously worked for FM Global and the Industrial Risk Insurers.”
