Houston-based Linsure Holdings, Inc. has announced the launch of “Linsure Directo” through its wholly owned European subsidiary Linsure Iberica S.A.
Linsure is a diversified holding company with strategic interests in providing coverage for litigation funding (legal fees, etc.) and real estate developments in Europe. It has representative offices in London and Spain.
Following meetings with Spanish underwriters and insurance companies at Linsure’s new European Headquarters in Spain, CEO Paul Taylor commented: “The potential in Spain to replicate the well proven formula already used in other countries circumventing traditional intermediary points of sale, is very good indeed although added marketing finesse is required due to the heavily established, somewhat different process of advance repetitive annual billing to consumers. Using national media advertising we can demonstrate substantial savings opportunities on premiums particularly in the area of motor insurance products.”
