The New York and London-based Navigators Group announced that its subsidiary, Navigators Management Company, has formed a new division that will specialize in underwriting property/casualty insurance products for technology businesses.
“Navigators Technology will provide a portfolio of property/casualty insurance products, including Errors and Omissions, General Liability, Automobile, Umbrella and Property coverages for firms engaged in providing technology related products and services,” said the bulletin. “Targeted operations include Information Technology, Electronics, Communications, Factory Automation and Medical Devices manufacturers.”
Navigators Management VP David Allred will be responsible for Navigators Technology. Prior to joining Navigators, he headed the Technology Group of Kemper, and brings substantial managerial and underwriting skills to the position having also worked for the Chubb Group in a variety of underwriting positions. He will report to David Rutkowski, Chief Underwriting Officer Navigators Specialty.

Navigators Technology will provide Middle Market technology firms with quality solutions for their insurance needs.”
