Arch Insurance Group, a division of Bermuda-based Arch Capital Group Ltd., announced that Jerry Vasquez has been named to the position of Managing Director, Offshore Energy. He will be working with Lesley Harding, Managing Director of Arch’s London office in an effort to develop Arch’s worldwide offshore capabilities.
Vasquez will be based in Arch’s New York office and will report to Vincent D. Liotta, Senior VP, Global Marine and Energy. “Arch is extremely pleased to have Jerry join our team,” said Liotta. “His vast experience in his field of expertise will be a strong addition to our company.”
Vasquez has more than 30 years of underwriting and management experience in the offshore energy area. Prior to joining Arch Insurance Group, he was Senior VP and Managing Underwriter for the American Offshore Insurance Syndicate in New York. Before that, he served as President of All American Marine Slip, where he worked for 23 years.
