ING announced that Diederik Laman Trip will become the new Chairman of the Management Committee Netherlands as of 1 January 2003, succeeding Durk Brands who’s retiring.
“Laman Trip has been a Member of the Executive Committee ING Europe since 1 January 2000 and is currently responsible for Retail and Commercial Financial Services in Europe. From 1996 till the end of 1999 Diederik Laman Trip was Chairman of Postbank. He has been working for ING and its predecessors for more than 20 years,” said the announcement.
ING expressed its appreciation to brands for his contribution to the company and “for his enormous contribution to the Group’s results. During the last 10 years he was a member and Chairman of the Management Committee Netherlands.
