Insurance broker Hub International Limited has acquired the assets of Byrnes Agency, Inc. in Connecticut.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1932, Byrnes Agency is located in Dayville and Norwich. The agency offers a full line of personal and commercial insurance. Industries it serves include contractors, restaurants, farmers, motels, towing and trucking and others.
The Byrnes Agency team of more than 25 associates will join Hub New England. Byrnes Agency will be referred to as Byrnes Agency, a Hub International company.
Philo Smith served as financial advisor to Byrnes Agency.
Headquartered in Chicago, Hub has more than 18,000 employees in offices located throughout North America.
