ROCKLAND, Maine — The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the death of a worker who was trapped when a structure collapsed.
Workers were demolishing an attached garage when the structure collapsed on a worker Saturday morning.
Firefighters used inflatable rescue bags to lift the roof before tossing a rope underneath to pull the man out.
A LifeFlight helicopter was summoned to transport the man to a hospital, but he did not survive, officials said.
