Police in Maine say a man has been injured and another man arrested after a car involved in a collision barreled into a diner.
According to police, three vehicles were involved in a collision in Sanford around 3:36 p.m. Tuesday. Police say one of the vehicles in the crash hit the Third Alarm Diner.
Police say a man who was eating at the restaurant at the time of the crash was taken to a hospital in serious condition. Authorities have not identified the victim.
Police arrested the driver of the car that struck the diner. He has been charged with operating without a license.
Authorities say the diner was damaged badly and will be closed until repairs are made.
Police continue to investigate.
