GEICO is planning to expand its regional operations office in Western N.Y. in a move that it expects will bring more than 600 new jobs to the region, the company announced.
The firm is set to open an additional facility in Getzville, N.Y., as part of the expansion. During the next six years, it aims to add more than 600 jobs to the greater Buffalo area and invest nearly $11 million to equip its current and additional offices to accommodate the new jobs.
GEICO has already begun the hiring process. Further details on the expansion were not immediately available.
