Eastern Insurance Group in Natick, Massachusetts, has hired Janice Belmonte as vice president and account executive for Eastern Benefits Group, the firm’s employee benefits division.
Belmonte will work out of Eastern Benefits Group’s Norwell, Massachusetts, office. She will handle group employee benefits consulting.
She most recently was vice president of business development for group benefits at Sapers & Wallack Inc. She has also worked as senior associate at Mercer Health & Benefits.
Eastern Insurance Group’s Eastern Benefits Group division provides employee benefits plans to businesses, including group health and life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care insurance, and 401(k) plans.
Eastern Insurance Group, a subsidiary of Eastern Bank in Boston, serves more than 70,000 individuals and businesses and provides personal and commercial insurance products, surety, and employee benefits services.
