The Hanover Insurance Group said it will be the main sponsor for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s 2013 class announcement.
“We’re very excited to sponsor this marquis event for the second year in a row,” said Dick Lavey, senior vice president, field operations and marketing at The Hanover. “Our company has a longstanding commitment to community, youth and excellence, and it made sense to partner with an organization that inspires young people to work to achieve excellence and reach their full potential.”
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, located in Springfield, Mass., is home to nearly 300 inductees, honoring top basketball players, coaches and other major contributors to the game of basketball.
