Marsh, the insurance broking and risk management division of Marsh & McLennan Cos., appointed industry veteran Carmela Inneo as head of its Hartford, Connecticut office.
Inneo brings more than 30 years of insurance industry experience to her new role, almost all of it with Marsh. She previously was a member of Marsh’s Client Executive Practice in New York, where she managed a team of senior client executives and working with some of Marsh’s largest clients across several industries.
She began her career as a claims adjuster with Nationwide Insurance before joining Marsh in 1983. Inneo succeeds Paul Clawson, who is now head of Marsh’s office in Charlotte, North Carolina.
