The Insurance Center of New England, an independent agency headquartered in Agawam, Mass., appointed industry veteran Laurie Brunton as a personal lines sales representative.

Brunton brings two decades of personal lines insurance experience to her position at the Insurance Center of New England. Most recently, she worked at College Highway Insurance in Southwick, Mass. She has also completed numerous professional insurance courses.

The Insurance Center of New England has 35 employees at its Agawam, Mass., office and 30 employees at a second location in Gardner, Mass. The firm’s business is split evenly between its personal lines division and its commercial insurance/employee benefits division.

With roots dating back to 1866, the Insurance Center of New England is one of the largest locally owned, independent insurance agencies in New England.
