Lockton Affinity, an insurance program management division of brokerage firm Lockton Companies, appointed Sara Payne as senior vice president.
Payne brings expertise in areas of creation and operation of Defense Base Act insurance programs for government contractors. She will be based in Lockton Affinity’s Washington, D.C., area offices.
“Sara Payne is recognized as a leader in managing complex insurance programs for government contractors,” said Steve Eginoire, CEO of Lockton Affinity. She has previously led the government contractor team at Rutherfoord International, an insurance broker in the Washington, D.C. area. She had worked at Rutherfoord for 18 years. She holds the CIC professional designation from the Society of Insurance Counselors.
Lockton Companies is a Kansas City, Mo.-headquartered insurance broker. Founded in 1966, Lockton has more than 4100 employees and 58 offices around the world. It is the largest privately held insurance broker.
