Specialty insurer Beazley Group has named Alex Ricardo privacy breach response manager for the company’s technology, media and business services professional liability group.

Ricardo, based in New York, will direct breach response services for Beazley insureds when data breaches occur, and assist with crisis management activities. He will also support marketing and product development for the company’s flagship data breach insurance policy and other information security products.

Previously, Ricardo managed a data breach services team at Kroll.
