Washington D.C.-based specialty insurance brokerage Ames & Gough has appointed Tom Marchetti as a client executive.

Marchetti is responsible for providing service to existing clients and developing new relationships in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, as well as other regions in the U.S. He also works with the firm’s growing property/casualty operation, expanding its capabilities and broadening its expertise in areas such as builders risk, property insurance and workers’ compensation.

Marchetti worked previously at United Insurance Consultants, an insurance and risk management advisory firm in northern New Jersey, where he led the construction and real estate team.
