The Maryland Insurance Administration has issued a bulletin insurers in the state asking them to accommodate policyholders who have been impacted by last week’s massive snowstorm.

“Because of this unusual weather, daily life has been disrupted for many consumers,” from Acting Commissioner Beth Sammis says. “To avoid cancellations for personal auto insurance and homeowners insurance, I encourage insurers to provide reasonable accommodations to policyholders during this time, including, but not limited to, a grace period for premium payment.”
