Pennsylvania insurance agencies, The Securus Group and The Dunlop Agency, have merged in a move they say is aimed at bolstering their market share in the Lehigh Valley and South Central regions of the state.
The merged agency, now known as The Securus Dunlop Group, is headquartered in Lancaster with a second office in Wyomissing.
Ray Shirk, president and chief executive officer of The Securus Dunlop Group said that “Together our companies will be able to expand our insurance, employee benefits, bonding, third party administration and financial services network. This partnership affords our businesses additional leverage serving our respective clients, offering a wider variety of products and services and reinforcing our commitment in our local communities”.
The firms’ Wyomissing business will continue to be managed by Art Dunlop and Rich Keith.
