The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation hopes to raise $1 million for charitable causes in the tri-state area at its first annual dinner in New York on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
IICF will be honoring Brian Duperreault, former chairman and CEO of ACE Limited. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg will be a special guest and Martin J. Sullivan, president and CEO of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½, will be chairman of the dinner.
The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, founded in California in 1994, seeks to help communities and enrich lives by combining the collective strengths of the industry to provide grants, volunteer service and leadership. The foundation’s New York division began operation in January of 2007 and is managed by Executive Director, Haleh Nazeri.
The foundation is funded and directed by insurance industry professionals representing a broad spectrum of the industry: reinsurers, insurance agents and brokers, property/casualty companies, health/life companies and related advertising, public relations, law, accounting, computer and other companies that work closely with the insurance industry.
