NYMAGIC, Inc. has appointed Craig S. Lowenthal as senior vice president and chief information officer.
Lowenthal has been a technology professional in the insurance industry for more than 19 years. Most recently, he was the managing principal and chief information officer for Integro Insurance Brokers. Prior to joining Integro, he was with Hartford Financial Products, a unit of The Hartford.
NYMAGIC, INC. is an insurance holding company whose property and casualty insurance subsidiaries specialize in writing ocean marine, inland marine and non-marine liability insurance, and whose agency subsidiaries specialize in establishing markets for such business. The company maintains offices in New York, San Francisco and Chicago.
