Emerson, Reid & Co. in New York thas acquired Dascit/White & Winston, Inc., a New York City based small group benefit general agent, which is owned by Nemco Brokerage. This acquisition is expected to contribute approximately $3 million in revenue to Emerson Reid on an annual basis. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
DWW distributes group benefit products to small businesses through independent agents and brokers. By combining the DWW business with Emerson Reid’s existing presence in the wholesale benefit market, Emerson Reid said it well positioned as a leading provider of these services in the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets.
Emerson, Reid & Co. Inc. is a wholesale only distributor of group employee benefit products through third party agents and brokers.
Emerson Reid has offices in southern Connecticut, downstate New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
