Arch Insurance Group, a New York-based unit of Arch Capital Group Ltd., announced the appointment of Vincent Liotta as senior vice president of global marine and energy effective Oct. 15.
Arch’s newly-formed Global Marine and Energy unit will focus on traditional marine lines, as well as offshore energy, aviation and space risks. Liotta will be based in Arch’s New York offices and will report to Thomas Kaiser, President of the Property, Energy and Marine Division.
Liotta has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industries. Prior to joining Arch, Mr. Liotta was a Managing Director of Marsh Inc. and Guy Carpenter & Company Inc., where he managed a large team of brokers.
