Trumbull Services L.L.C., a Windsor, Conn.-based provider of outsourcing and technology services to P/C insurers, announced it has agreet to provide commercial lines administrative services to Cypress Point Insurance Services Inc., a managing general agency (MGA) based in San Diego.
Cypress Point president Bill Trzos stated that “By utilizing Trumbull as our back office service provider, Cypress Point can focus on our core competencies of underwriting, risk management and program development.” He added, “We are impressed with the quality and expertise provided by the people at Trumbull which will be key to achieving our growth goals and our commitment to quality service to our insureds, producers and carriers.”
Trumbull Services President Stephen Holcomb saw the arrangement with Cypress Point as a good example of how MGAs can benefit from outsourcing. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to provide Cypress Point the services they require to ensure the expert handling of their insurance business.”
