General Re-New England Asset Management Inc. (GR-NEAM), the Farmington, Conn.-based insurance investment and capital management firm, has hired Barton Holl, formerly the director of sales and marketing at Deutsche Insurance Advisory Services (previously known as Scudder Insurance Asset Management).

As vice president of sales and marketing, Holl will join Terry Becker in managing GR-NEAM’s sales and marketing efforts. They will be responsible for further developing GR-NEAM’s sales and marketing strategies as the firm enters the next stage of growth of its investment and risk management capabilities.
