Five new members have been elected to the Board of Directors of the New York- based International Insurance Society, Inc., a nonprofit group of 800 senior executives and academics in insurance from 90 nations.
The new Board members include: Edmund (Ted) Kelly, president and CEO, Liberty Mutual Insurance Companies, USA; Stephen McGill, Chief Executive, Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc, and JLT Risk Solutions Limited, United Kingdom; Norman Sorensen, president, Principal International, Inc., USA; James Dowd, president and CEO, Fairfax Inc., USA; and Takeo Inokuchi, Chairman, president and CEO of Mitsui Marine and Fire Insurance Co., Ltd., Japan.
