The Council of Insurance Brokers of Greater New York installed new directors and officers at the association’s annual dinner dance held at the El Caribe in Brooklyn. The gala was also a charitable event, raising over $5500 for the Widow’s and Children’s Fund of the Uniformed Firefighters Association of New York City.
Directors installed were:
Stuart Fries, CIC, from Garber Atlas Fries & Associates Inc., Lynbrook; Thelma Goodrich from Goodrich/Johnson Brokerage, New York; George Marchetti Jr., CPCU, from Marchetti and Sabatelli Associates Inc., Brooklyn; William Paris from Paris Insurance, Bronx; Vito Pietzana from Summit Coverges, Ltd., New York; Lucas Snyder from American Marketing Center, New York; Anthony Zaino, CIC, AAI, CPIA, from Anchor Brokerage Company Inc., Huntington Station. “As usual, we have a great group of officers and directors to introduce this year, and have already heard some promising ideas that will continue making CIBGNY the very powerful organization it is becoming,” said Michael F.Conte, installing officer from Conte Porrino in New York.
New officers are as follows:
President-Jeffrey Greenfield from NGL Group, Lynbrook; Vice President-Al Caputo from Buckingham Badler Associates, Staten Island; Vice President-Al Eskanazy from Morstan General Agency, Lake Success; Vice President-Lloyd Sabatelli, CIC, from Marchetti and Sabatelli Associates Inc., Brooklyn; Secretary-Jerrold Rosenblum from Intercity Agency Inc., Bayside. “I am excited to be working with this very experienced and bright group of people. We have a great year to look forward to, as I anticipate some great advances and memorable times,” said Greenfield.
