The Hartford Financial Services Group has appointed Robert Ferreira senior vice president of human resources for the company’s property-casualty operations.
Ferreira previously served as executive vice president of human resources, service and selling, and asset protection for Saks Fifth Avenue.
In this newly created position, Ferreira will oversee all human resources activities, including strategic planning, resource development and recruitment, for The Hartford’s property-casualty operations.
Ferreira joined Saks in 1997 as senior vice president, human resources, and advanced the following year to executive vice president of human resources, service and selling, and asset protection.
Prior to Saks, Ferreira held increasingly responsible business management and human resources positions at Shearson Lehman Brothers, Strategic Compensation Associates and AON Consulting, among other organizations.
