A “AA-” claims paying ability rating was assigned to Factory Mutual Insurance Company (FM Global) by DCR.

DCR indicated that last year’s merger between Allendale Mutual Insurance Company, Protection Mutual Insurance Company and Arkwright Mutual Insurance Company, which resulted in the formation of FM Global, provides the new company with a variety of benefits, which were somewhat offset by FM Global’s recent underwriting results. The rating outlook is stable.
