Palmer & Cay hosted the First Annual “Fight Against Brain Tumors Charity Golf Classic” at White Columns Country Club in Alpharetta, Ga. With more than 130 people in attendance, representing more than 50 insurance companies, the event raised more than $50,000 to benefit the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation. Palmer & Cay decided to sponsor the tournament when one of their associates was diagnosed with a brain tumor. In 2004, the disease will be diagnosed an estimated 185,000 times.
