Nuts & Bolts:
Encino, Calif.-based NAS Insurance Services has extended the availability of its non-standard medical malpractice coverage to include physicians, surgeons, and dentists in Alabama and Mississippi. In addition, NAS will now consider offering malpractice insurance to neuro- and orthopedic surgeons who perform spinal surgery in Texas and Florida. Among the special features are one-year and five-year ERP options, incident reporting and defense in addition to the limits for additional premium.
Dollars:
Limits are available up to $1 million each claim with a $3 million aggregate on a primary basis only. The coverage includes various deductibles.
States Available:
Texas and Florida for neuro- and orthopedic surgeons. Alabama and Mississippi for medical malpractice coverage.
