Nuts & Bolts: Superior Access Insurance Services Inc., has a new small business BOP designed for office, retail, wholesale, service and high-tech classes of business. Businesses must have less than $5 million in annual revenue for each individual location, except for offices. This is a flexible policy that encompasses all the essential coverages into one single program. The Small Business BOP includes property coverage, general liability (must be written with property), umbrella liability, professional liability (E&O) and employment practices liability insurance (EPLI). New ventures will be considered. Backdating of coverage is not acceptable. Agents must submit 3-year current loss history or a signed application showing any loss history. No more than two claims in the past three years will be considered.
Dollars: Min. premiums begin at $400-property & general liability, $400-umbrella, $250-E&O & $350-EPLI. Professional liability & EPLI limits will go up to $1M. Umbrella liability limits:$1M, $2M & $3M.Deductibles:$500,$1000 & $10,000.
Carrier: Rated “A++ (superior) XV.”
States Available: Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Texas. More states to be added in 2004.
