Number of complaints about ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ still outstanding from the Sayre Fire that struck Sylmar, Calif., in November 2008, according to the California Department of Insurance. DOI spokesman Darrel Ng said it had received 22 complaints about ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ related to the fire, and eight had been resolved. The Sayre Fire destroyed 485 mobile homes, 370 insured by ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½.

Estimated insured losses to homes and vehicles from Colorado’s hail and high winds on July 20, according to the Rocky Mountain Insurance Information Association. Golf ball-sized hail and strong winds battered roofs, uprooted trees and pounded vehicles in Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, Arvada and Englewood. The association noted there were approximately 52,400 claims filed so far: 19,500 auto claims and 32,900 homeowner claims.
